the lightning bug situation is a solo project by an artist named brian miller, and a slew of guest artists.

his album, "a leaf; a stream" provides an intimate and deep look into the lives of his family members, as well as his own. often inspiring, sometimes chilling, and always eclectic, brian's work on this album will leave you begging for more.

it's fifteen tracks of beautifully written instrumental and literary genius. check out his website at:

www.thespeakers.info/aleafastream.html

there you can buy the songs through snocap, or you can go over to iTunes and purchase the album. it's worth every penny.

heyyy guys.

sorry about the inactivity lately, i've been moving from my parent's house into my new apartment. at the moment, my mic and preamp are chilling in a box somewhere, next to my elliott smith and john lennon albums.

if all goes well, you should expect a new episode within the next couple of days. keep checking back for that, you won't be disappointed.

keep it real, keep it indie.

hey everyone.

i've recently begun work on a podcast called Pop Filter Podcast. with a little help from Liberated Syndication (Libsyn), i've been able to finally get this under way.

now here is where i'll need your help. i'm looking for artists of any genre who would like their music to be featured in a podcast episode. the goal of Pop Filter is to increase exposure for up and coming artists and bands. the format of these single-serving episodes will be similar to that of IndieFeed Podcasts, where the band is introduced, a full-length song is played, and a short description of the band is given afterwards.

if you are interested in having your's or your band's music featured, give me a shout.
